Due to a family emergency all semifinalists opted for an eliminator style format instead of the traditional semifinals and finals format. One game was rolled to cut the field in half with scores determining 4th, 5th, and 6th places. A second game was then rolled with scores determining 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

Round 1 scores: Rich Pasternack 215, Zack Barlow 214, Brian Hoock 206, Fabrizio Raimondi 195, John Bolognese 188, James Piwko 177

Round 2 scores: Brian Hoock 225, Zack Barlow 204, Rich Pasternack 162

Champions’ Profile: Brian Hoock is 26 years old and currently laid off from Federal Meat Markets. He has been bowling since junior leagues and currently bowls league at Manor Lanes. Brian has a high game of 268 and a 720 high series to his credit. He was using a Brunswick PBA Inferno drilled by Doug Heim at the National Bowling Store in North Tonawanda. Brian said that high school bowling and his friends helped him to develop his game. He thanked his parents for their support, Transit Lanes for hosting the tournament, and the ABT for coming to Buffalo. His winnings will be used to pay some bills and renew his car insurance. Brian said that he likes the way the ABT is run and that you get to meet new people each time you bowl.

CONGRATULATIONS Brian!
