George Spencer made it two in a row by defeating Isaac Layton Jr. 226-168 at Southgate Lanes. George survived a 2-frame roll-off against Andy Rettig 60.4-36.6 to claim the fourth seed in the match play finals. In round one of the match play George Spencer defeated Charles Tyler 246-215 and Isaac Layton Jr. defeated John Bolognese 230-221. In the title match George Spencer defeated Isaac Layton Jr. 226-168. Champion’s Profile: George Spencer is 34 years old and employed as a machinist for Johnson Precision in Kenmore. He has been bowling for 30 years and currently bowls in the BPA travel league. His high game is 300 and he has a high series of 837 to his credit. George was using a Storm Agent drilled by Brian Ruszala at Big Daddy’s Pro Shop in Kenmore. He thanked Southgate Lanes for hosting the event and Storm Bowling Products for some good equipment. George said his winnings would be used for a trip to Vegas.
