*** Laschinger wins Combo Event ***

Eric Laschinger won his first ABT title by defeating David Lucas 239-200 in our Combo event at AMF Lancaster Lanes. In round one of the match play finals Eric Laschinger defeated Sheena Wang 252-219 and David Lucas defeated Tim Frenz 265-195. Eric Laschinger took the early lead in the title match but David Lucas started to close ground in the second half of the match. Unfortunately for David a pocket 7-10 broke up what would have been a 5-bagger and Eric pulled away to the 239-200 victory.

Champion’s Profile: Eric Laschinger is 41 years old and employed as a business account executive for Appraisal.Com. He has been bowling since age 10 and bowled leagues this year at Airport, Lancaster and Manor Lanes as well as in the St. John the Baptist Travel League. Eric has a high game of 300 and a 782 high series to his credit. He was using a Track Mutant drilled by Jim Santarini at AMF Airport Lanes. Eric thanked Brian Hoock for his support during the finals, AMF Lancaster for hosting the event and Willie Cook for a good shot this week. Eric said his winnings would be used for more events and that the ABT is a great tournament to bowl in.

CONGRATULATIONS George!

Tournament Notes: Congratulations to Sugar Ray Hall who won a Storm Double Agent ball by posting the high series on the 10:30 squad. Nice bowling Sugar Ray!
