John Bolognese won his first ABT title by posting a handicap total of 743 to win the $1,000.00 first prize in our Combo Sweeper Event at Transit Lanes. Sal Christopher shot 679 good for second place and $500.00. Champion’s Profile: John Bolognese is 32 years old and employed as a supervisor for American Sales. He is married to Christine and they have two sons, Nicholas and Christopher, ages 8 and 2. John has been bowling for 10 years and bowls league at AMF Airport Lanes. He has a high game of 296 and a 745 high series to his credit. John was rolling a Storm Double Agent drilled by Jim Reese at AMF Lancaster Lanes. He credits his friends Isaac Layton Jr., David Lucas, and Eric Peterson as having helped him to work on his game. John thanked the ABT for coming to this area along with Ike Layton Jr. and his family for their support. His winnings will be used to pay off some bills. John said he was glad that the ABT is here and hopes that it will continue to grow.
