Brian Ruszala won his third ABT title by defeating Brandon Korczykowski 219-195 at Transit Lanes. In match one of the stepladder finals Brandon Korczykowski squeaked by John Walker 194-193 to earn his shot at top seed Brian Ruszala. In the title match Brandon left a 6-8 split in the 3rd frame then missed a bucket in the 4th. Brian stayed clean to open a 24-pin lead at that point and held it the rest of the way going on to win by the final score of 219-195. This was Brian’s second consecutive win. Champion’s Profile: Brian Ruszala is 35 years old and owns and operates ABT co-sponsor Big Daddy’s Pro Shop inside Kenmore Lanes. Brian has been bowling since age 10 and currently bowls league at Kenmore Lanes. His high game is 300 and he has an 800 high series to his credit. Brian thanked the ABT and Transit Lanes for having the event and his dad for cheering him on from his couch at home. He said he prefers the separate division events and hopes that the ABT will keep growing.
