Michael Kwiatkowski won his first ABT title by defeating James Piwko 233-205 at Recckio’s Bowling Center. Stepladder Finals: In match one Michael Kwiatkowski defeated Michael Friedman Jr. 232-214. In the championship match Michael Kwiatkowski defeated James Piwko 233-205. Champion’s Profile: Michael Kwiatkowski is 26 years old and employed as a 6th grade teacher in the Buffalo Public School system. He is married to Kelly and has been bowling since age 4. Michael currently bowls leagues at AMF Airport and Recckio’s Bowling Center. His high game is 279 and his high series is 718 with both being shot in today’s event. Michael was using a Storm Red Hot and a Johnny Petraglia LT-48 Gold that he had drilled at the National Bowling Store. He thanked his parents; Patrick and Mary Jean for getting him started in bowling. He also thanked John Bolognese and Brian Hoock for their support during the finals, his brothers Scott and Matt for pushing him to do his best and Recckio’s and the ABT for having the tournament. CONGRATULATIONS Michael!Tournament Notes: Congratulations this week to Michael Friedman Jr. who rolled his first perfect game during qualifying. Nice bowling Mike!
