Peter Mitri earned his “black shirt” by winning his second ABT title with a 194-188 victory over Jerry Smith at Kenmore Lanes. Peter is 57 years old and employed as a salesman for Empire North Wine & Spirits. He is married to Mary and they have 4 children, 35-year-old Serafina, 30-year-old Brandi and 25-year-old twins Mary and Nicole. Peter admits to having been bowling “for too long” and currently bowls league at Brierwood. His high game is 300 and he has an 801 high series to his credit. Peter was using a Brunswick Swamp Monster drilled by Sue Jeziorski at AMF Thruway Lanes. In addition to his full time job Peter also owns Burstin’ Franks Hot Dog Stand in Tonawanda. Peter thanked his late dad Nicholas for helping him to improve his game. His winnings will be used for some new equipment and more ABT events. Peter said that the ABT is a professionally run tournament that gives everyone a chance to compete and enjoy themselves. CONGRATULATIONS Peter!Tournament Notes: We guarantee that a minimum of 1 in 6 entries will cash. This week’s cashing ratio was 1 in 4.6.
