*** Whiteside Wins at Transit ***

David Whiteside won his first ABT title by defeating Greg Lattuca 194-166 at Transit Lanes. David is 51 years old and employed as a RV technician for camping World. He is married to Pam and they have 3 sons, Jay, Ryan and Jason, ages 10, 12 and 32. David has been bowling for 24 years and bowls leagues at Rainbow Lanes in Weedsport and Flamingo Lanes in Syracuse. He has a high game of 300 and a 780 high series to his credit. David was using a Track Freak and a Purple Hammer drilled by Mike McCracken at Flamingo Lanes. Besides bowling David also enjoys boating, fishing and hunting. He thanked Mike McCracken for his equipment advice and drilling. David also thanked Dawud Sanders for congratulating him after the qualifying round saying maybe that was an omen of things to come. David said his winnings would be used to pay some bills. He also said that he likes the ABT format and Transit Lanes since he always seems to bowl well there.

CONGRATULATIONS David!
