Ike Layton Jr. won his fifth ABT title by defeating top seed Eric Peterson 269-178 in our Year-End Appreciation tournament at AMF Airport Lanes. Ike is 47 years old and employed as a truck driver for Conway Freight. He is married to Julie and they have a 14-year-old daughter named Megan. Ike has been bowling since age 5 and currently bowls league at AMF Airport. He has a high game of 299 and a 779 high series to his credit. Ike was using an Ebonite SR300 drilled by Jim Reese at AMF Lancaster Lanes. Besides bowling Ike also enjoys golf and martial arts. He thanked his mom and dad for getting him interested in bowling and his wife and daughter for their support. Ike also thanked the ABT for running the tournament and AMF Airport Lanes for hosting it. Ike said his winnings would be used for Christmas. CONGRATULATIONS Ike!Tournament Notes: Congratulations to Ricky Zinone and David Lucas who each won $101.50 by splitting a 295 Pot on the 11am squad. Ricky won his share with a perfect 300 game. Nice bowling guys. Brian Hoock was this week’s winner of a Roto Grip Grand Illusion ball in our participation drawing. We guarantee that a minimum of 1 in 6 entries will cash. This week’s cashing ratio was 1 in 4.2.
