Matt Ciminelli defeated three opponents to claim his first ABT title in our first event of 2009 at Bowl-Inn Lanes. Matt is 23 years old and employed as a collections agent for Iqor. He has been bowling “since he could walk” and currently bowls league at Recckio’s. His high game is 300 and he has a high series of 824 to his credit. Matt was using a Toxic Hammer drilled by Matt Limardi at Tonawanda Bowling Center. Besides bowling Matt also enjoys poker and movies. He thanked his dad for getting him started in bowling. Matt also thanked his significant other Nicoele Miller and his friends for their support. Matt and Nicoele are expecting their first child and Matt said his winnings would be used to take Nicoele out to someplace nice and their “baby fund”. Matt closed his interview by saying that Bowl-Inn Lanes is a great center and the ABT is a good competitive tournament. CONGRATULATIONS Matt!Tournament Notes: Congratulations to Joe Doxbeck and Darryl Miles who each won ABT Jackets by rolling perfect games this week. Joe also won and extra $100.00 by breaking the 295 Pot. Nice bowling guys!
