Bill Stoddard won his third ABT title by defeating Phil Kaiser 248-215 at AMF Thruway Lanes. All three of Bill’s titles have come at Thruway. Bill Stoddard is 37 years old and employed as a driver for Eagle Transmission. He also works as nightclub security for Liquid Nightclub in Rochester. Bill is single but taken by girlfriend Sarah Francis. He has been bowling since age 10 and currently bowls league at Empire Lanes. His high game is 300 and he has an 829 high series to his credit. Bill was using a Hammer Black Widow drilled by Brian O’Mara and Brad Buckert at the Beginners to Pros Pro Shop in Rochester. Besides bowling Bill also enjoys baseball, softball, football and cards. He thanked Sarah for letting him bowl so much and Mike Wurme, Chris Werner and John Mart for their support. Bill said his winnings would be used for the USBC Nationals. Bill also thanked AMF Thruway Lanes for a challenging condition that he feels is the way bowling should be.
