Dennis Smith posted a 724 handicap series to capture his first ABT singles title in our sweeper at Bowl-Inn. Dennis is 37 years old and employed as a district loss prevention manager for AJ Wright. He has been bowling for 12 years and bowls leagues at Tonawanda Bowling Center and AMF Thruway Lanes. Dennis has a high game of 289 and a 704 high series to his credit. He was using a Hammer Venom drilled by Mike Hanes at Tonawanda Bowling Center. Besides bowling Dennis also enjoys golf. He thanked this week's runner-up, Andy Rettig, for having helped him to improve his game. He also thanked Justin Maiorana for pushing him to bowl better. Dennis said his winnings would be used for a trip to Vegas in June.
