Ronlee Thompson won his first ABT title by defeating Donald Bradley 231-182 in our Memorial Day Open event at Transit Lanes. Ronlee is a 25-year-old self-employed contractor. He has been bowling for 3 years and bowls league at Maple City Bowl in Hornell. Ronlee has a high game of 283 and a 728 high series to his credit. He was using a Hammer Black Widow drilled by Joe Shullek in Rochester. Besides bowling Ronlee also enjoys basketball. He thanked his family for their support and Michelle for loaning him the money to re-enter. Ronlee said his winnings would be used for more tournaments. CONGRATULATIONS RONLEE!Tournament Notes: Our top 2 finishers this week were not in Bonus Bucks, creating a $1,000.00 carryover for our next special event - the Firecracker Singles over the 4th of July weekend. This was our largest turnout to date but we could easily top that mark at the Firecracker Singles. Don’t miss it! We guarantee that a minimum of 1 in 6 entries will cash. This week’s cashing ratio was 1 in 4.2.
