Ike Layton Jr. won his sixth ABT title by defeating Raynard Bryant 269-223 at Kenmore Lanes. Ike is 47 years old and employed as a truck driver for Conway Freight. He is married to Julie and they have a 14-year-old daughter Megan. Ike has been bowling since age 5 and bowls league at AMF Airport Lanes. He has a 299 high game and a 799 high series to his credit. Ike was using a Lane 1 Buzz Saw drilled by Jim Reese at AMF Lancaster Lanes. Besides bowling Ike also enjoys golf and martial arts. He thanked his friends and family for their support along with the ABT and Kenmore Lanes for having the tournament. Ike said his winnings would be used to pay bills.
