George Spencer won his 7th ABT title by defeating Mike Johnson 225-210 at Broadway Sports Center. George is 36 years old and employed as a machinist for Elmar Industries. He has been bowling since age 4 and bowls in the Travel A League. His high game is 300 and he has an 837 high series to his credit. George was using a Storm Fired Up drilled by Brian Ruszala at Big Daddy’s Pro Shop. Besides bowling George also enjoys poker and golf. He thanked the spectators for their support and Broadway Sports Center for hosting the tournament. His winnings will go towards a down payment for either a Jet Ski or a Camaro. George said he likes the stepladder finals format and that recent lane conditions have been fair and competitive for all types of bowlers. CONGRATULATIONS George!Tournament Notes: We guarantee that a minimum of 1 in 6 entries will cash. This week’s cashing ratio was 1 in 4.
