Ike Layton Jr. and Booker Wells teamed up to post a 1065 handicap total to win our doubles event at Broadway Sports Center. Ike is a 48 year old driver for Conway Freight. He is married to Julie and they have a daughter Megan. Ike has been bowling since age 5 and bowls in several different leagues. He has a high game of 300 and a 799 high series to his credit. Ike was using a Hammer Black Onyx drilled by Jim Reese. Booker Wells is 52 years old and self-employed as a personal trainer. He has been bowling since age 12 and also bowls in several different leagues. His high game is 300 and he has a high series of 789. Booker was using a Storm Virtual Gravity drilled by Jack Jurek. Both bowlers thanked each other and team Wash and Wax. Ike also thanked his wife for her support. Booker said his winnings would be used for more tournaments while Ike said his would go towards Christmas. Both bowlers said that they love the doubles and Ike added that he also likes the new ideas for the upcoming season. CONGRATULATIONS IKE & Booker!
