Mike Zarcone defeated Joe Rubrecht 261-181 to capture the title in our first scratch event at AMF Thruway Lanes. Mike is 42 years old and employed by Tops Markets. He is married to Theresa and has been bowling since junior leagues. Mike currently bowls several leagues at various centers. His high game is 300 and he has an 865 high series to his credit. Mike was using a Storm Virtual Gravity drilled by Sue Jeziorski at AMF Sports Stop Pro Shop inside AMF Thruway Lanes. Besides bowling Mike also enjoys sports in general. He thanked the ABT for running a good event and AMF Thruway Lanes for hosting. Mike said his winnings would be used for the USBC Nationals in Reno. He also said that he liked the format and is glad to see the ABT running some scratch events. CONGRATULATIONS Mike!Tournament Notes: Congratulations to Mike Zarcone who rolled a perfect game during qualifying. We were very pleased with the support for our first scratch event and look forward to our next one on Feb. 21, 2010 at Broadway Sports Center.
