Bill Stoddard won his fourth ABT title by defeating Phil Kaiser 219-185 in our Third Anniversary Tournament at AMF Lancaster Lanes. Bill is 37 years old and works as a bouncer for Liquid Nightclub, a driver for Eagle Transmission and a promoter for Roc Boxing. He has been bowling since age 11 and bowls leagues at AMF Empire, AMF Terrace Gardens and Domm’s. His high game is 300 and he has an 829 high series to his credit. Bill was using a Columbia Full Swing and a Hammer Blue Vibe drilled by Brad Buckert and Brian O’Meara at Beginners to Pros Pro Shop. He thanked his girlfriend Sarah for letting him bowl so much and the ABT for continuing to run good events in WNY. Bill said his winnings would be used for the USBC Nationals in Reno. He also said the shot was tough this week and whoever made the finals earned it. CONGRATULATIONS Bill!Tournament Notes: Fred Wilkesmore Jr. and Chris Weiler each won Storm Virtual Energy balls by rolling the high game on their respective squads. Bob Hakes won the drawing for a pair of Sabres tickets and 18 bowlers won ABT towels. Congratulations to all!
