Phil Tabbi won his first ABT title by defeating Sal Augugliaro 308-216 at Classic Lanes. Phil is 18 years old and employed at Transit Lanes. He has been bowling for 8 years and bowls leagues at Transit Lanes and Clarence Bowling Center. Phil has a high game of 289 and a 771 high series to his credit. He was using a Columbia Ribal drilled by Jack Jurek at the Bowlers Choice Pro Shop inside Transit Lanes. Besides bowling Phil also enjoys golf. Phil thanked his father for getting him started in bowling and Ted Chojecki for his support during the championship match. He had no immediate plans for his winnings and said that he likes the stepladder format. CONGRATULATIONS Phil!
