Bill Froehley defeated Johnny Hsu 209-195 to win his first ABT title in his first ABT event. Bill is 63 years old and retired. He is widowed and has a grown daughter, Mary Beth. Bill has been back in bowling for about 4 years after a lengthy lay-off. He currently bowls league at AMF Airport Lanes. His high game is 279 and he has a 729 high series to his credit. Bill was using a Hammer Psycho drilled by Jim Sabatini at AMF Airport. Besides bowling Bill also enjoys golf and drag racing. He thanked Frank Coburn for help with his game, Jim Sabatini for drilling his equipment and AMF Airport for hosting the event. Bill said his winnings would be used for more tournaments. He also said that he loved this week’s format.
