Andy Rettig won his second ABT title by defeating Jerry Smith 246-242 at AMF Lancaster Lanes. Andy is 38 years old and employed by the Department of Treasury. He has an 8-year-old daughter named Madison. Andy has been bowling since age 5 and bowls league at AMF Thruway Lanes. His high game is 300 and he has an 830 high series to his credit. He was using a Storm Virtual Gravity drilled by Sue Jeziorski. Besides bowling Andy also enjoys golf and tennis. He jokingly thanked Dennis Smith for not sticking around for the finals saying that this was the second time he’s won when Dennis has left. Andy said his winnings would go into Madison’s college fund. He closed his interview by thanking the ABT for running good tournaments and stating that he wished more bowlers would come out. (Thanks Andy, my sentiments exactly. –Ed) CONGRATULATIONS Andy!
